I recently learned that my paternal grandfather,
Peter Orzech, was born in Debica. I believe he immigrated to the United States in 1898,
when he was around 19 years old. As far as I know, he came alone. I can't help but wonder
whether there are any Orzech's now in Debica.
What is the population of Debica? Before W.W.II, what percentage were Jewish?
